Jürgen Klopp Goes Digital
In early 2024, trivago brought on none other than Jürgen Klopp as a brand ambassador. While our production team prepped for a major TV commercial, the digital team —headed by me— was tasked with building a complementary campaign tailored for online channels.
With limited time and budget for Klopp’s involvement, we had to be strategic. The solution? Three snappy 15-second video spots optimized for digital platforms, plus a suite of photo assets that we wove into display banners and paid ads across multiple markets.
What you see below is just a glimpse of that rollout. The campaign helped create the illusion of a full 360° brand moment—elevating trivago’s positioning as the smart, savvy hotel deal finder and the travel companion you want in your corner.
